Famous rapper 50 Cent has recently voiced his criticism regarding New York City’s plan to allocate millions of dollars for prepaid credit cards to migrant families.

In an Instagram post, he even hinted that this policy might lead him to support former President Donald Trump in the upcoming 2024 elections.

The program is set to begin with 500 migrant families staying in short-term hotel accommodations and will replace the existing food services provided by the city.

According to the New York Post, these pre-paid credit cards are limited in their use and can only be utilized at bodegas, grocery stores, supermarkets, and convenience stores.

To remain in the program, migrants must sign an affidavit pledging that they will only spend the funds on food and baby supplies.

The amount of money loaded onto each card is determined by the size of the migrant family and their income status.

For instance, a family of four may receive $1000 per month, with the cards being refilled every 28 days.
