Christie handed Zelensky handwritten lyrics to the Bon Jovi hit song “It’s My Life.”

Christie conveyed that the song’s message reflects the sentiments of many Americans who stand in solidarity with Ukraine’s cause.

Christie’s visit to Ukraine was driven by a fact-finding mission to understand the atrocities being committed against the Ukrainian people.

He visited the town of Bucha, where he witnessed the horrifying reality of the Russian army’s actions.

Christie recounted the brutal execution of 160 civilians, where victims’ eyes were gouged out, ears cut off, and hands tied before being shot in the back of the head by Russian soldiers.

He further shared the tragic account of Russian soldiers raping the women left behind after the massacre.

Christie’s trip to Ukraine aimed to shed light on the ongoing conflict and lend support to the Ukrainian people in their fight for freedom and justice.
