In a gripping testimony before House investigators, Devon Archer, the best friend and business associate of Hunter Biden, revealed astonishing details about the impact of the “Biden brand” on Burisma Holdings, the embattled Ukrainian energy company. Archer asserted that without the association with Joe Biden’s name, Burisma would have faced imminent collapse. According to Archer, the former vice president actively promoted the Biden brand during phone calls with Burisma executives.
Archer recounted a pivotal moment in December 2015 when Burisma’s co-founder, Mykola Zlochevsky, and executive Vadym Pozharski exerted pressure on Hunter Biden to seek help from Washington, D.C., in relation to Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin, who was investigating the company for corruption. Interestingly, Joe Biden proudly boasted about Shokin’s dismissal during his 2015 visit to Ukraine, a few months after the pressure was applied.
Intriguingly, Archer claimed that Hunter Biden, along with Zlochevsky and Pozharski, made numerous calls to Washington, D.C., to discuss crucial legal matters, with Joe Biden on speakerphone on over 20 occasions, actively promoting “the brand.” The Biden name also played a significant role during a dinner in China with Jonathan Li of Bohai Harvest RST (BHR), where Hunter Biden and Archer held interests through a shell company named Rosemont Seneca Thornton.
Further raising eyebrows, Republican investigators revealed that Yelena Baturina, a billionaire and the ex-wife of Moscow’s former mayor, transferred a staggering $3.5 million to Rosemont Seneca Thornton in 201Archer confirmed that Joe Biden attended a business dinner in 2014 with Hunter Biden and others, where Baturina was also present.
House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer expressed deep concern, accusing Joe Biden of misleading the American people about his family’s business dealings and involvement.
