Hamas Proposes Cease-Fire in Exchange for Prisoner Release

A plan to end hostilities in Gaza has been proposed by Hamas to mediators.

In return, between 700 to 1,000 of Palestinian prisoners are to be returned to Hamas.

Prime Minister Netanyahu called the demands unrealistic.

His office has noted that the plan will be forwarded to the country’s war and security cabinets.
