Hillary Clinton Backs Joe Biden for Re-election, Says Trump, DeSantis Don’t Stand a Chance

No surprises here, but Hillary Clinton has thrown her support behind Joe Biden for re-election in 2024. Speaking to Sky News, she predicted that Donald Trump would not win the upcoming election and that Joe Biden would secure re-election, irrespective of who the Republican nominee is.

The former Democratic presidential candidate and secretary of state said that “more people are onto him (Trump) and his behavior than they were before.”

Clinton accuses Trump of ‘psychological projection’

Mrs. Clinton has faced numerous allegations from Trump, including claims of spying on him and manipulating the 2016 presidential election results, despite losing to Trump.

During her interview with the Beth Rigby Interviews program in Northern Ireland, Clinton said, “I always thought about him (Trump), if you follow him, you can see it – he accuses people of things he himself is doing, it’s a form of psychological projection.”

“I always thought his record in business in particular, but then as we saw him in politics and government, he was someone who cared nothing about rules. He cared nothing about the law”, she continued.

Clinton acknowledged that despite Trump’s indictment, the US legal system does not prevent him from running for president again. Nevertheless, she expressed confidence that Trump would not be re-elected.

“He has a hard core of support that is likely to help him win the Republican nomination. But in a general election against President Biden, I do not believe he can win,” she said.

Governor Ron DeSantis is ‘unproven’ – Clinton

Clinton said that Florida governor DeSantis another possible Republican candidate, would be unsuccessful as he is “unproven,” according to Clinton.

“Nobody really outside of Florida knows very much about him, and in Florida, they’re watching him do crazy things. So I actually believe that President Biden will be re-elected regardless of who the Republican nominee is”.

Clinton dismissed concerns about Biden’s age, stating that she is in her mid-70s and believes she could handle the job.

“I think it really should be a matter of what he has done as president,” she said.

Additionally, Clinton discussed abortion rights in the US following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade in June, where 13 states have prohibited abortions. Furthermore, Governor DeSantis recently banned abortions in Florida after six weeks.

Clinton predicts that Republican politicians will persist in limiting abortion rights, which she believes will ultimately harm the Republican party’s success.
