He stated, “Washington wants you and I to be divided, and the rest of America to be divided because it’s a better business model for them.” This realization has led Manchin to conclude that he cannot change things from within and instead plans to mobilize the “radical middle.”
Earlier this week, Manchin revealed that he does not intend to seek reelection to the Senate when his term expires. However, he remains open to the possibility of running as a third-party candidate for president in 2024, emphasizing his willingness to do whatever he can to help save the country.
