Liz Cheney Compares Trump to Putin, Calls Out NATO Comments as “Ignorant”

In an interview with CNN’s “State of the Union,” Cheney expressed deep concern over Trump’s comments, describing them as “disgraceful” and indicative of “a complete lack of understanding of America’s role in the world.”

Cheney emphasized the danger of Trump’s remarks, highlighting the vital role NATO plays in maintaining global stability and security.

“It’s disgraceful. I can’t imagine any other American president of either party, since the establishment of NATO, saying such a thing,” Cheney told CNN’s “State of the Union.”

Cheney also criticized Trump for failing to address the death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, and comparing him with Putin with regards to his frequent retribution rhetoric.
