Megyn Kelly Slams Bud Light, Says Drinking It is a ‘Middle Finger to Women!

In a scathing takedown, Megyn Kelly has declared that enjoying a can of Bud Light is equivalent to disrespecting women.

The former Fox News anchor, on her SiriusXM podcast, criticized the brand’s association with controversial transgender social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney, which she claims has made Bud Light uncool and prompted a decline in sales. Kelly argued that people openly shame the brand and that ordering Bud Light will lead others to look at you funny. With Anheuser-Busch InBev losing a staggering $27 billion in market value, Kelly questioned whether the brand can ever recover from this PR nightmare.

The fallout from the ill-fated partnership between Bud Light and Dylan Mulvaney has been disastrous for Anheuser-Busch InBev. The company’s market capitalization has plummeted to $107.44 billion, down over $27 billion from its value before the partnership went live. May marked one of the worst months for the company’s shares, which are now on the verge of entering bear market territory. Bud Light’s decline in sales following the controversial collaboration has undoubtedly contributed to this financial downfall.

The Bud Light marketing executive linked to the Mulvaney partnership remains tight-lipped about the ordeal. Alissa Heinerscheid, who was seen walking with a friend in New York City, refused to comment on the controversial marketing deal. Her friend intervened, explaining that Heinerscheid is not allowed to discuss the topic. The secrecy surrounding the matter raises further questions about the internal workings of the ill-fated partnership.

In an attempt to salvage their reputation with disenchanted consumers, Bud Light announced a $200,000 donation to an LGBTQ+ nonprofit. The brand extended its partnership with the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) to support economic opportunities and advancements for LGBTQ+ Americans and business owners across the country. However, it remains to be seen if this gesture will be enough to restore Bud Light’s tarnished image.
