Controversial rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, also known as Daniel Hernandez, has been arrested in Florida on charges of failing to appear in court, according to jail records. The 27-year-old artist, famous for hits like “GOOBA,” was taken into custody and booked at the Palm Beach County Jail.
He was released a few hours later after posting a $2,000 bond. This arrest follows a previous incident where 6ix9ine was brutally attacked by a group of individuals in an LA Fitness bathroom in Florida.
A video of the attack went viral on social media, showing him being assaulted by several men. He sustained injuries to his jaw, ribs, and back, and suffered cuts and bruises.
The rapper’s response to the attack has included statements on social media, where he referred to the attackers as “cowardly.”
