Stephen Colbert Mocks House GOP and Speaker After Series Of Failures: “It’s Not Whether You Win Or Lose, It’s How Hard You Laugh At Mike Johnson”

Late-night talk show host Stephen Colbert didn’t hold back as he criticized House Republicans on Wednesday night’s episode of CBS’s “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” following a string of embarrassing defeats for the GOP conference this week.

He continued the mocking. “The GOP was counting on Green not showing up … but he learned about the impeachment vote while watching television.

So he grabbed an Uber to the Capitol.”

He ended the mockery with, “Turns out he was wearing one boot but he left it in Mike Johnson’s a**.”
