Surveys Show Strong Leads for Trump in Michigan

Former President Donald Trump is leading the Republican primary race in Michigan with a commanding 69 percent of the vote. This significant lead puts Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis far behind with only 13 percent support. Other candidates, including former Vice President Mike Pence, South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, received lower levels of support, each polling at two to three percent. Approximately 11 percent of voters in Michigan remain undecided, according to the Mitchell Research & Communications survey. Additionally, the same survey shows Trump and President Biden in a statistical tie in a head-to-head matchup, with Trump at 45 percent and Biden at 43 percent.

Trump Holds Strong Lead in Iowa

In Iowa, a separate survey involving 2,283 likely Republican caucus participants reveals Trump’s continued dominance in the GOP primary field with 46 percent support. DeSantis follows in second place with 16 percent, while Sen. Tim Scott secures double-digit support at ten percent. Anti-woke businessman Vivek Ramaswamy receives five percent, while the rest of the candidates see three percent support or less. Meanwhile, ten percent of those surveyed in Iowa remain undecided. The survey was conducted from July 15-17 and has a margin of error of +/- 2.6 percent.

Trump’s Lead in Utah

The Deseret News/Hinkley Institute poll shows Trump overtaking DeSantis in Utah, where the former president now leads. This recent development indicates a shift in the state’s political landscape, as DeSantis had previously edged out Trump in Utah last month.
