‘Uncommitted’ Votes Over Gaza Policy Pose Challenges for Biden Campaign

President Joe Biden nearly swept all states during the “Super Tuesday” Democratic nominating contests, but a protest vote in seven states spotlighted challenges for his reelection campaign due to his support for Israel’s actions in Gaza.

In Minnesota, with nearly 90% of the vote counted, 19% of Democratic voters chose “uncommitted” to express their disagreement with Biden’s backing of Israel against Hamas in Gaza.
