Copper One Resources Corp. (CSE: CEXY) announced on October 7, 2026, that it had entered into an agreement to acquire a 100% interest in the Sword & Gossan Mineral Properties in west-central Labrador. The proposed acquisition covers approximately 3,900 hectares across ten mineral licences and 156 claims and includes a historical nickel-copper-cobalt exploration project. The transaction is valued at CAD $3.65 million in cash, with additional advance royalty payments, and remains subject to closing conditions.
The announcement follows the company’s October 2 update on its Redonda Copper-Molybdenum Project in British Columbia, where drilling had commenced on the third hole of a planned 2,400-metre program. Together, the updates outline Copper One’s ongoing exploration activities and its planned expansion into additional critical metals assets.
A New Labrador Property
Copper One has signed an agreement to acquire a 100% interest in the Sword & Gossan Mineral Properties in west-central Labrador. The agreement is dated October 6, 2026. The seller is 1594122 B.C. Ltd., an arm’s-length party.
The land package covers about 3,900 hectares across ten mineral licences and 156 claims. It sits roughly 90 kilometres north of Churchill Falls, on the northern side of the Smallwood Reservoir. The property includes the historical Sword (Michikamau) nickel-copper-cobalt project.
“The proposed acquisition of Sword & Gossan would expand Copper One’s North American critical metals portfolio with a nickel-copper-cobalt exploration opportunity in Labrador,” said David Greenway, President and CEO of Copper One.
Copper One will pay CAD $3.65 million in cash. The first payment of CAD $1.15 million is due one business day after the effective date. The remaining CAD $2.5 million is due within six months. The company will also make two advance royalty payments of CAD $200,000 each on the first and second anniversaries. No shares will be issued in the deal, and no finder’s fees apply.
The property carries an existing 2% net smelter returns royalty. Copper One can purchase half of it from the royalty holder for CAD $2 million, which would reduce the royalty to 1%. Closing depends on due diligence, board approvals, any required third-party consents, CSE acceptance, and no material adverse change in the property before closing.
The property sits within the Michikamau Intrusion, one of Labrador’s largest anorthosite-troctolite complexes. It lies in the same broad geological province as the Voisey’s Bay nickel-copper-cobalt mine, about 300 kilometres to the northeast.
Previous operators explored the ground between 2005 and 2007. Their airborne survey outlined several high-priority electromagnetic conductors. Consultants at the time interpreted these as consistent with massive sulphide bodies. Most have never been drill-tested. Prospecting found gossanous showings at Gossan 115 and Sword Far North. A two-hole drill program at the Juno conductive zone intersected nickel-copper-cobalt sulphide mineralisation over a broad interval.
The company notes that a qualified person has not verified these historical results. Copper One is not treating them as current, and they are provided for context only. Mineralisation at Voisey’s Bay is not necessarily indicative of mineralisation on this property.
Drilling Advances at Redonda
On October 2, Copper One reported that drilling has started on RED-26-03, the third hole of its Redonda program. The hole is angled at -75 degrees and planned to reach about 470 metres downhole.
The company also completed RED-26-02 to a depth of 425.8 metres. On September 9, Copper One had reported visually identifying native copper in that hole at about 40 metres downhole. Geological features consistent with the targeted porphyry copper-molybdenum system were observed starting at about 20 metres.
These observations are visual only. They have not been confirmed by laboratory analysis, and the company is making no claim about copper grade based on them.
“Completion of RED-26-02 provides additional core for geological logging, sampling and analysis as we evaluate the geometry and continuity of the targeted porphyry system,” said Greenway.
Redonda covers about 2,746 hectares across nine mineral claims on West Redonda Island. It sits within British Columbia’s Coast Suture Zone, a belt known for porphyry copper and skarn mineralization. Teck Corp. drilled nine holes on the property in 1979, totaling 1,681 metres. Known mineralized zones remain open along strike and at depth.
Recent field work also flagged an area that may represent a previously unrecognized mineralized zone, along a historic logging road east of the main trend. It will be mapped and sampled before any drilling decision.
Paradigm Drilling Ltd. is running the program with a track-mounted diamond drill capable of reaching beyond 600 metres. Copper One is also working with the Klahoose First Nation, including hiring a Klahoose member for core splitting and using the Klahoose crew boat for marine transport.
Majuba Hill Next
Copper One’s flagship asset is the Majuba Hill Copper-Silver-Gold District, about 251 kilometres from Reno, Nevada. The company says site preparation is complete for a planned 4,000-foot (1,219-metre) Phase 2 drill program there. The broader portfolio also includes an option on the Redhill Property near Ashcroft, British Columbia, and the Sport Project in Utah.
Recent Financing
On September 29, Copper One announced it had closed a non-brokered private placement of special warrants at $0.40 each, for gross proceeds of about $7.96 million. Each special warrant converts into one unit, made up of one share and one-half of a warrant exercisable at $0.50 for two years. The company intends to use the proceeds for general working capital and its exploration programs. The offering remains subject to required final regulatory approvals, including final CSE approval. Conversion of these securities will increase the company’s share count.

About Copper One Resources Corp.
Copper One Resources Corp. is focused on identifying, acquiring, and advancing high-potential copper, copper-silver-gold, and copper-molybdenum projects to help meet the growing global demand for critical metals required for electrification, AI infrastructure and data centers, renewable energy, defence, and the modernization of power systems. The Company’s flagship asset is the Majuba Hill Copper-Silver-Gold District, located approximately 156 miles (251 kilometres) from Reno, Nevada. Majuba Hill is an exploration-stage porphyry copper project situated in a premier mining jurisdiction with excellent infrastructure, where ongoing exploration is focused on evaluating the scale and continuity of a large copper-silver-gold mineralized system. Copper One also owns a 100% interest in the Redonda Copper-Molybdenum Project, located northeast of Campbell River in British Columbia’s Vancouver Mining Division. The district-scale project comprises approximately 2,746.46 hectares (6,786 acres) across nine mineral claims and hosts a porphyry-style copper-molybdenum system within the highly prospective Coast Suture Zone, a geological belt known for significant porphyry copper and skarn mineralization. The Company believes Redonda has the potential to become a significant long-term exploration asset as systematic exploration continues to evaluate the scale and continuity of the mineralized system. In addition, Copper One holds an option to earn up to a 100% interest in the Redhill Property, located south of Ashcroft, British Columbia, adjacent to the Trans-Canada Highway. The 4,736-hectare (11,704-acre) property hosts volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) mineralization prospective for copper, zinc, silver and gold, while also demonstrating potential for epithermal gold mineralization. Copper One also owns a 100% interest in the Sport Project in Utah through its wholly owned subsidiary, Rooinek Mining Corp., expanding the Company’s portfolio of North American copper exploration assets. Copper One has entered into a purchase and sale agreement to acquire a 100% interest in the Sword & Gossan Mineral Properties, located in west-central Labrador, Newfoundland and Labrador. Copper One is advancing its portfolio through systematic exploration, modern geological modelling, and disciplined technical evaluation. The Company remains committed to responsible exploration practices, technical transparency, and creating long-term shareholder value through disciplined exploration and the advancement of critical metals projects across North America.
