Trump Was Lied To About The COVID Vaccine – Peter Navarro

Peter Navarro, a former adviser to the Trump administration, has accused former President Trump of being misled into believing Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine was a “true vaccine,” pointing the finger at Dr. Antony Fauci for allegedly hiding critical information about the virus’s origin.

Fauci and Pfizer failed to disclose vaccine side effects

In a May 4 podcast hosted by Patrick Bet-David, Navarro elaborated on these claims, asserting that both Fauci and Pfizer failed to disclose the vaccine’s side effects to Trump, leading him to believe it was a conventional vaccine rather than one based on mRNA technology.

Traditional vaccines introduce weakened or dead pieces of bacteria or viruses into the body to stimulate an immune response, a method that has been used for many years.

How mRNA vaccines work vs traditional vaccines

In contrast, mRNA vaccines employ a novel approach. They use a molecule called messenger RNA that corresponds to a viral protein, usually one found in the virus’s outer membrane. Importantly, these vaccines do not contain any part of the actual bacteria.

Navarro also accused Dr. Fauci of exacerbating the COVID-19 pandemic in the US. He stated, “Fauci knew for a fact that that virus came from the Wuhan lab. He knew that because he had funded the gain of function research in that lab and he had already begun to design a cover-up.”

Navarro referred to emails Fauci sent to researchers and academics, allegedly attempting to gather support for the “come from nature” theory.

A ‘more effective vaccine’ could have been developed

Navarro argued that if Fauci had admitted the virus originated in a lab, the US could have pressured China to provide the genome sequence, allowing for the development of a more effective vaccine.

In 2006, Navarro authored a book, “The Coming China Wars,” where he suggested that Beijing might create a virus capable of killing millions. This early prediction showcases Navarro’s long-standing concerns about China’s potential role in developing and spreading deadly viruses.

Trump proposed a travel ban on China to curb the virus’s spread

Navarro recounted a January 28, 2020, meeting in the White House Situation Room, during which Trump proposed a travel ban on China to curb the spread of the virus.

Attendees, including Fauci, Robert Redfield, then-director of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and Mick Mulvaney, then-acting White House Chief of Staff, opposed the ban.

Navarro claimed he clashed with Fauci and Mulvaney over the issue and later wrote a memo advocating for the travel ban, emphasizing the potential for the virus to kill half a million Americans and cost trillions of dollars if not contained.

Mainstream media dismissed the ‘lab leak theory’

Nearly two years after the pandemic began, the mainstream media and public health officials still widely dismissed the lab leak theory of COVID-19’s origin. Facebook even censored content discussing the lab leak, only reversing its policy in June 2021.

However, on January 28, 2023, United Nations-affiliated epidemiologists Colin Butler and Delia Randolph said in a joint statement that the most likely explanation for COVID-19’s origin is a laboratory.

FBI Director confirmed ‘lab leak’ likely cause of COVID

In February, FBI Director Christopher Wray confirmed that the agency determined a lab in Wuhan, China, was the likely source of COVID-19.

He also mentioned that the Chinese regime had been interfering with US and international efforts to identify the pandemic’s origin. On March 1, the US Senate unanimously passed a bill requesting the Biden administration to declassify any intelligence related to COVID-19’s origins.

Navarro’s accusations and the growing acceptance of the lab leak theory have reignited debates over transparency, international collaboration, and the need for rigorous scientific investigation in the face of a global health crisis.
