Trump, who is set to turn 77 this Wednesday, briefly mentioned his upcoming birthday during his speech. As soon as the former president made a mention of it, the crowd responded with enthusiastic chants and a rendition of the “Happy Birthday” song.

Amid the celebratory atmosphere, Trump noted the ironic timing of his legal situation. He was recently indicted on 37 felony charges, including illegal retention of defense secrets and obstruction. “I just got charged with — they want 400 years approximately. If you add them all up – a fake a fake – 400 years. ‘Oh, thank you, darling. That’s so nice,'” Trump said, highlighting the disparity between the joyous occasion and his ongoing legal issues.
