President Biden recently declared that all of his grandchildren are under the protection of the Secret Service, though the White House has yet to clarify whether this includes his estranged grandchild from Hunter Biden. The President’s statement comes as he highlighted the benefits of Secret Service protection during a speech commemorating the one-year anniversary of the PACT Act’s passage, which relates to the Department of Veterans Affairs.

However, the inclusion of 4-year-old Navy Joan Roberts, the daughter of Hunter Biden from an extramarital relationship, in the Secret Service protection remains uncertain. Conservative legal group Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit seeking records on Secret Service protection for Roberts after the Secret Service responded to a Freedom of Information Act request by stating that no relevant records had been found. For security reasons, the Secret Service has not commented specifically on who receives protection.
President Biden acknowledged Navy Joan Roberts only recently, as she was born through Hunter Biden’s relationship with Lunden Alexis Roberts. In July, Biden stated that he and his wife, Jill, are focused on what is best for all of their grandchildren, including Navy. Hunter Biden settled a child support case with Roberts’ mother in June, ending a lengthy paternity dispute.
The question of Secret Service protection for Biden’s grandchildren, particularly the specifics surrounding Navy Joan Roberts, remains a topic of interest and speculation, especially given the ongoing legal and familial complexities.
