Conservative legal group Judicial Watch filed a lawsuit seeking records on Secret Service protection for Roberts after the Secret Service responded to a Freedom of Information Act request by stating that no relevant records had been found. For security reasons, the Secret Service has not commented specifically on who receives protection.
President Biden acknowledged Navy Joan Roberts only recently, as she was born through Hunter Biden’s relationship with Lunden Alexis Roberts. In July, Biden stated that he and his wife, Jill, are focused on what is best for all of their grandchildren, including Navy. Hunter Biden settled a child support case with Roberts’ mother in June, ending a lengthy paternity dispute.
