Court documents from North Carolina reveal that Ryan Fournier, a co-founder of Students for Trump, has been arrested and charged with assault. The charges include assault on a female and assault with a deadly weapon.
According to the documents, Fournier allegedly grabbed the victim by her arm and struck her in the forehead with a firearm. He posted bond on the day of his arrest and is scheduled for a court hearing in December. Fournier has not yet responded to requests for comment regarding the charges.

Students for Trump was established during the 2016 presidential campaign while Fournier was a freshman at Campbell University in North Carolina. Since then, the group has gained a substantial following of over 242,000 on social media platform X.
Fournier currently serves as the chairman of the organization. Additionally, he holds the position of executive director of Radical Alert, a group focused on exposing “radicals” on American college campuses.
Known for his active presence on social media, Fournier frequently expresses support for former President Donald Trump and criticizes President Joe Biden. Despite his recent arrest, Fournier has continued to share political content on his platforms, though he has made no mention of the charges against him.
